12:57I'm Rebuilding My Entire Garden From Scratch...
Save referenceExpectation Violation
Regulars know this garden full of beds and plants, with the greenhouse and painted wall behind. Now it's bare dirt, and Kevin stands in the middle with his arms spread. It looks like a huge step backwards, so you want to know why.
'Entire' and 'From Scratch' make the scale of the decision clear, and the dots at the end suggest there's a story behind it the title isn't telling.
A red glow painted onto the soil around Kevin picks him out of a wide, brown frame, and TOTAL RESET tells you the bare ground is deliberate, not a disaster.
When you tear down something your regulars know well, show the familiar place stripped bare with you in the middle. Put the size of the change in the title and keep the reason back.
Show the place they know, stripped bare, and hold back why.
Apply this pattern to your next video.
Bring the reference into a packaging brief, then decide what your title and thumbnail should each communicate.
