13:46See This Chef's Amazing Kitchen Garden: Gaz Oakley's Countryside Plot
Save referenceCuriosity Gap
A chef chooses crops for the kitchen, so you wonder what's in those beds that you'd never think to plant. The red brick house behind a full kitchen garden looks like the dream plot, and you get to walk round it.
Gaz Oakley's name at the end speaks to his food fans, but a stranger only learns he's a chef from 'This Chef's', which does the real work.
The wide shot sells the whole place, house, beds and outdoor cooker together, though leaving the chef himself out means his fans won't recognise it at a glance.
When you visit someone whose job gives them a different reason to be in your niche, put their job in the thumbnail text over a wide shot of their setup. If they're recognisable, show their face too.
Name their job, and viewers wonder what they do differently.
Apply this pattern to your next video.
Bring the reference into a packaging brief, then decide what your title and thumbnail should each communicate.
