21:13Designing a water brand from scratch
Save referenceDesired Outcome
This one works mostly on design. The orange and lemon cans with fruit and splashes look like a real drinks advert, so the finished brand shows what Abi can do. 'From scratch' promises you'll see it built from nothing, but the image skips that stage.
'Water brand' names a concrete made-up client project, and 'from scratch' tells designers they'll see every decision, not just the final reveal.
The text is set in the brand's own orange on pink, so LOGO DESIGN PROCESS looks like part of the advert, while the cans and fruit fill every corner.
When your finished work is beautiful on its own, build the thumbnail from it and match your text to its colours. Add one early sketch in a corner so the process you promise is visible too.
Let the finished work sell the skill, then show where it started.
Apply this pattern to your next video.
Bring the reference into a packaging brief, then decide what your title and thumbnail should each communicate.
